Run for Rae 5K

RaeAnne, 8th Grader at Germantown Middle School, went to basketball practice on Friday, December 28th. She woke up on Saturday, December 29th and could not feel her legs. She was admitted to Children's Hospital PICU and diagnosed with streptococcus pneumoniae, which attacked her entire body, especially her outermost extremities.  Rae has since lost both of her lower legs. Now Rae faces months, even years, of intense therapy both physically and emotionally. 

Nikki and Adam, RaeAnne's Mom and Dad, can't begin to express how much they appreciate all of the support they are receiving.  Thank you to everyone who participates in the race as well as all other Rally for Rae events.
